The origin of the restaurant’s name, Koisus, means « sushi oke » when read upside down : koisus <> susiok. In Gion, Kyoto, Koisus serves spice curry made with a unique combination of over 20 types of spices in sushi okes. The sushi bucket contains 2 types of curry and 5 types of pickles. The iron kettle contains Kyoto-style soup stock, which can be poured over curry to create a soup curry.
